How small-group language courses work

Small-group language courses give each learner more speaking time than a large class while still keeping the energy of shared practice. At Lingua Tutors, groups are kept intentionally small so lessons stay focused, interactive, and easy to follow.

Before enrolment, each learner completes an initial level screening and receives a written learning plan. This helps match the group, timetable, and course pace to the learner's starting point and goals.

Small groups, clear structure, and regular practice

A practical format for adult beginners, continuing learners, and private groups in Florence or online.

Our intensive small-group course runs for four weeks with four lessons per week and a group size of four to eight participants. It is designed for steady progress, with guided peer practice and independent study between lessons.

Progress depends on the starting level, attendance, independent practice, learning needs, and course duration. Depending on the course format, lessons can take place in Florence or online, with booking available by phone, email, contact form, or online consultation.
